ABOUT US In 1999, the MGH Department of Radiology recognized the need to link key clinical functions together in an effort to promote awareness and education around advances in medical imaging. With the vast amount of information and resources available to physicians and patients, “building a bridge” for streamlined communication between the Department of Radiology and referring physicians and their patients was an opportunity whose time had arrived. The role of MGH Radiology Marketing remains today to proactively provide dedicated staff and resources from within Radiology to our referring physicians, their staff and patients. In the dynamic imaging industry landscape, the ability to consistently exceed rapidly changing customer expectations while exploring new and innovative ways to communicate the message of MGH Radiology will be vital to our continued success. With a Department-wide Strategic Plan focusing on Quality and Safety, MGH Radiology is committed to exceptional customer service, while simultaneously providing the highest possible levels of patient safety. With the recently opened Yawkey Center for Outpatient Care, as well as community based imaging centers in Waltham and Chelsea, our customers now have access to a healthcare leader in imaging services, within a very short time frame.
